Overview
In this self-initiated project, I am designing a typeface that combines old and new glyph styles. The display typeface takes inspiration from flowing forms, combining the architectural and organic.

A typeface for the modern age
The Stillis Roman headline typeface was conceived of as a missing link between modern serifed typefaces like Didot and transitional typefaces such as Times New Romans.
The word “Stillis” means “drip” in Latin, which speaks to the rounded drop-shaped terminals on each unique letterform. The typeface is meant to be used large and dynamically. In this personal project, I am designing each glyph and will be releasing the typeface for sale.
